Racing Thrills and Triumphs: FCS Team Rider Tristan Lasure Shines at Arena Cross USA in Daytona Beach
The engines roared, the dirt flew, and the thrill of motocross filled the air as Arena Cross USA descended upon the iconic Oceans Center in Daytona Beach, FL, on Thursday, February 28th, 2024. Among the talented riders from across the country, FCS Team Rider Tristan Lasure showcased his skill and determination in two fiercely contested classes—Micro E and Micro 2.
A Glimpse into Tristan’s Journey: Racing Against the Best
Tristan, just a young rider with a heart full of passion and a thirst for victory, took on the challenging tracks of Arena Cross USA. Tristan began training at a “athlete” level in January this year and this race just showed how far he has come. Racing in the Micro E class (ages 4-8) and the Micro 2 class (ages 4-6), Tristan faced off against competitors from far and wide, each vying for glory in the adrenaline-charged atmosphere of Daytona Beach. Tristan got to race with his good buddy Everette Gilrane who took the win in Micro 2. These kind of races are so much fun when you see two kids who train together, race each other and grow off each other. This truly is the spirit of racing and the backbone of FCS Racing’s mission to grow and cultivate young men and women!

Riding on his trusty KTM E5 from Central Florida Powersports in Kissimmee, FL, and a Cobra 50 Jr., Tristan tackled the wild terrain with confidence and courage. Despite the tough conditions and the track quickly deteriorating into deep ruts, Tristan raced with unwavering determination.
Proud Moments on the Podium: Celebrating Triumphs
Tristan’s perseverance paid off as he crossed the finish line, securing a commendable 6th place in the Micro E class and an impressive 2nd place in the Micro 2 class after a racing start crash and then battling with his buddy Everette Gilrane for lap after lap. His outstanding performance is a testament to his talent, dedication, and the unwavering support of the FCS Racing team.
